WELCOME!

To enter the 3D world requires a computer with a 3D graphics card and the (free to download) BS Contact 7 VRML/X3D browser plug-in. Please note, currently the Virtual Universe will only work under Windows. High speed broadband internet is also recommended.

For first time visitors, please take the time to read the Getting Started Guide.

After logging in through the Web, you will be able to explore and walk freely in virtual space around the University of Western Australia campus, interact with other avatars and objects such as buildings, and obtain information by clicking on them. A 'Science Guru' avatar will quiz participants on science questions of significance to Australia.

The site will be going through some maintenance as of late, please be patient.
